What is Second Hand Stress?
- Second hand stress is often non acknowledge source of stress in our lives. It is actually caused by having to be exposed to other stressed people. And if you didn’t know yet, Yes, stress is very contagious, just like a common cold, only for a common cold your less likely to blame it on someone else.
- Treat stress like how you would if it was a contagious disease. How do you do that you asked? Well, if someone else around is stress unless there is already a strong personal boundaries and you are able to stay alert to anything that is upsetting, it is very easy to let someone’s anxiety increase your inner feeling of stress.
- Second Hand Stress is an unconscious absortion of negative emotions which is hard for us to be in sync with those around us.
- , Identify the people in your life who are “sick” with stress.
- After, be aware of any type of situation in which secondhand stress can occur.

Another one is if there worried about meeting a deadline, suggest a spending time with each other to plot out a way to reassure the worrier. You can offer to show this person, or your friend how you can prioritize any task.)
7. If the person isn’t still reassuring from your attempts to help them to get them to see the positive side to things, take a break. ( There is no need for you to hang around a negative atmosphere which uses up all your energy…) Best advice is that you take a walk outside if possible, or do some physical exercise to beat stress! . :)

- Practice Meditation or Mindfulness. This can help build up your resilience against stressful people and situation.
- Get away from stressful situation as often as possible. If the stressful person is close to you, consider taking him/her a weekend hikes, overseas vacations, spa days, are all ways to un find and let your real feelings to have a change to come to the fore.
- Stress is by far responsible for a number of health issues in today’s situation which can lead to anxiety, depression and other psychological disorders..
- Stress cannot also be linked to you, but from another person.
